AI-Assisted Support Email with Power Automate and Microsoft Foundry

Support emails need more than a generated reply. Someone has to understand the request, identify the right team, and review the next step.

In this tutorial, I connect Power Automate to a Microsoft Foundry model through Azure Functions. AI extracts request details and proposes a routing key. The flow validates that proposal against a SharePoint team catalog, records the case, and requests human approval before creating an editable Outlook draft.

The lab also covers duplicate messages, uncertain recommendations, and approval timeouts. It uses synthetic support requests and does not send customer emails automatically.
